Friends of the Library

fotlThe Friends of the Washington Township Public Library (the “Friends”) is a non-profit organization devoted to bringing the community and the library together, encouraging the use of the library, and to support the library in developing its facilities.

To join the Friends of the Library please download a membership form here  (also available at the library) and return it to WTPL.

The Friends hold an Annual Spring Book Sale and participate in many other fundraising projects that help to fund quality programs and services beyond those provided by the library’s annual budget.

The Friends generously underwrite the Lifetime Learning series of adult continuing education classes.

The Friends purchase Museum Passes for circulation to Washington Township residents, sponsor a holiday program and luncheon for the public as well other special programs and purchase prizes for the Adult, Teen, and Children’s Summer Reading Clubs.  The Friends have also purchased furniture and an AWE computer station for the library.

The Friends latest Newsletter is available here

With your help, the Friends can continue to provide the support that connects you with your community.

The Friends is a 501(c)3 organization, making donations tax-deductible.
