The Friends of the Washington Township Public Library (the “Friends”) is a non-profit organization devoted to bringing the community and the library together, encouraging the use of the library, and to support the library in developing its facilities.
To join the Friends of the Library please download a form here (also available at the library) and return it to WTPL.
The Friends hold an Annual Spring Book Sale and participate in other fundraising projects that help to fund quality programs and services beyond those provided by the library’s annual budget.
The Friends have generously underwritten Lifetime Learning, a series of adult continuing education classes, as well as a series of exercise classes.
The Friends have also purchased Museum Passes for circulation to Washington Township residents. They have also purchased video games for the Youth Services Department. The Friends sponsor a holiday program and luncheon for the public as well as purchased prizes for the Adult, Teen, and Children’s Summer Reading Clubs.
For more recent donations check out the Friends of the Library newsletter.
With your help, the Friends can continue to provide the support that connects you with your community.
The Friends is a 501(c)3 organization, making donations tax-deductible.
